Two months before your removal

Define with your PROMOTRANSIT Agent the exact date for the house removal. He will advise you to avoid the busy periods and can agree on dates that will help you to save money (a truck that’s already in your area, space in a container, etc…).

One month before your removal

Contact your insurance agent to transfer your fire & theft policies to your new home, giving the date of effect. If you can’t do this for geographical reasons (you’re in the DOM-TOM or abroad), contact us for advice.

Two weeks before your removal

Begin crating your effects, and choose adequate boxes. Don’t fill them up too much because they may be difficult to transport, so remember to mix heavy and light objects. Number your boxes and make a separate list of their contents.
